Executive Assistant to the Pro Vice Chancellor Research & Development. Valerie provides high quality support to the Pro Vice Chancellor and the Research Directorate across these multifarious activities including administration and office management, the processing and monitoring of financial accounts and the servicing of committees and activities administered by the PVC. These activities include support for Research Programs directed by the PVC such as the Metropolitan Development Program, the Auckland Regional Economic Development Forum and research projects in partnership with academic colleagues in Europe and Asia.

The Executive Assistant is the key University contact for the Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor and the Research Directorate. Valerie manages the network of contacts with the office both internally and externally to the University.
