Senior Research Officer with the Economic Development Centre. Her main research focus at present is with the Metropolitan Development Programme, where she is researching Auckland’s historical development patterns. She has a Masters degree with First Class Honours in History, and her post-graduate research has focused on various aspects New Zealand’s external trade history over the past half century.  She is currently completing her Doctoral thesis which investigates New Zealand’s trade policy development from the 1930s to 1980s.
