Research Officer in the Local Government Centre within the Institute of Public Policy. 
After gaining a Law degree and a Bachelors of Arts degree (majoring in Anthropology), Clare went on to practice as a solicitor for four years.  She practiced in Auckland and London in a variety of areas, including property law, corporate law, employment law and civil litigation.  After life in London Clare and her husband enjoy living out at Muriwai Beach and sharing the West Coast with friends and family.
