| Dr Scott Fargher | |||||
Senior Lecturer
in Economics at AUT University, where his research focuses primarily on
labour economics, economic development and public policy. He
recently co-authored the third edition of the popular
text, Macroeconomics and the Contemporary New Zealand Economy,
with Susan St John, and teaches across a range of business related
courses at AUT University and the
Institute of Public Policy. His work with
the Institute of Public Policy also involves collaborative research
projects analysing labour market issues and various economic
growth initiatives across New Zealand. Prior to joining AUT University,
Scott completed a PhD at Edinburgh University and an MSc at
Glasgow University in Scotland. He also holds BA and MA (Hons)
degrees from the University of Auckland, where he taught before
joining the Scottish Doctoral Programme as the New Zealand Insurance/General
Accident Waitangi Foundation Exchange Scholar to Edinburgh University
Scott is a tutor on the Graduate Diploma in Economic Development
course. |
